First place ranking of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Tehran, in the QS ranking system - cheeng- دانشکده مهندسی شیمی
In the latest report published by the QS ranking platform in April, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the University of Tehran ranked first nationally by placing among the top 300 universities worldwide in the field of Chemical Engineering. The second and third places were awarded to Sharif University of Technology and Iran University of Science and Technology, respectively.
The QS ranking system evaluates criteria such as the number of reputable publications, citation count, impact of research papers, student-to-faculty ratio, racial and cultural diversity within the university, and industry connections and revenue generation.
Globally, the top three universities in Chemical Engineering are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), all from the United States. From Asia, the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, and Tsinghua University from China are leading academic institutions in Chemical Engineering.
